Model Number: 96512210 Brand: Sears Age: 1 - 5 years
when I set the timer and thepush the start button my dryer willnot start.
It is getting power,, I can hear the timer buzzing please help ( Pat) |

The first thing I would check is the start switch. There is suppose to be continuity when the switch pushed. Replace the start switch if it's open.
Then check the thermal fuse and replace it if it's open. The thermal fuse is located behind the rear panel, on the blower housing. - The part number for the start switch AP2975301 - The part number for the thermal fuse AP3132867 Gene.

Dryer stopped in midcycle. Won't restart. I can hear the timer is one when I turn the knob. Push in and nothing. I have checked the power, pulled it out and cleaned the lint thing. I opened and closed the door, light does not come on (can't remember if its suppose to though), I pushed in the door switch, it clicks on and off. What could it be? Its a maytag model number PYE2300AYW
