A pair of shorts got stuck between the dryer tub and the front wall while drying. I did not find it until the dryer stopped. When I dried the next load the dryer ran fine, but unfortunately the close were still wet and cold. Did the stuck clothing short out something in the dryer? I tried switching the breaker box switch on and off a few times and that did not help.
