Default Gas Dryer won't heat
Model Number: Montgomery Ward (don't have model number)   Brand: -brand-   Age: More than 10 years

I have experienced what so many have described before with the dryer cycling once and then the igniter glowing and the gas not igniting. I have replaced the coils but it still does the same thing. Is there anything else that you suggest might be the problem. Could these coils be bad also or is the valves bad. Please help. I found the model number it is LNC8375A80

thanks

Gene has much to be proud of
Default

In such situation the first thing I would replace is the flame sensor.

If it would not help then the gas valve itself has to be replaced.

- The part number for the flame sensor AP2910747

- The part number for the gas valve AP278224

Gene.
