Default dryer problem
Model Number: LER5620KQ1   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years   

my dryer stopped working after i used it the night before i put a load in and let it run and went to sleep when i opened it in the morning it was hot inside but had not been running and i could see from inside the drum with the door open the element was glowing but the dryer wasent running, if i turn the knob to dry (nomatter what setting) i can see the element startglowing from inside the drum with the door open, but it dosent sound like its doing anything or move or make any noise, the light works when the door opens i dont know what is wrong and would appreciate any help i can get....also i noticed a while back i was drying a load and fell asleep and the trier never shut off but has been ok since

It Seem The Element Must Have Shorted To Ground May Need To Check Dryer Vent For Restrictions May Need New Element
