A circuit that involved my laundry room was hit/disabled during a lightning storm. Now the dryer timer is not working. The dryer itself works and is heating. Would this just be a timer issue so I could easily replace ir? Or would it be worth a new dryer?

Amindy, If your timer does not advance, on any cycle(especially the timed dry setting) Then yes, replace the timer, after you check for damaged wires. Part number: AP3136147
If it won't advance on the "auto dry" settings, only, then we need to look for a bad thermostat or damaged wire. :) :) :)
