A circuit that involved my laundry room was hit/disabled during a lightning storm. Now the dryer timer is not working. The dryer itself works and is heating. Would this just be a timer issue so I could easily replace ir? Or would it be worth a new dryer?

Amindy,

If your timer does not advance, on any cycle(especially the timed dry setting) Then yes, replace the timer, after you check for damaged wires.

If it won't advance on the "auto dry" settings, only, then we need to look for a bad thermostat or damaged wire.
