This is my very first post, so please bear with me. My friend has a Whirlpool Gas Dryer (Model# LGR4634EQ3) that isn't getting hot (during any cycle). I've checked for continuity at the thermostats, thermal fuse, ignitor and coils. I have continuity in all the components except for the coils, so I was pretty confident that the problem is there (I did an audible check AND a numerical ohms reading check). This dryer required the front panel to be removed for the coil check and I was trying to check the ignitor and coils visually and couldn't get the dryer to go on. It's getting power but I'm not hearing it try to power up or anything! I've since put it back together since I still have to order the part anyway. I'm wondering what the issue is now, because it at least worked before I started my checks.....now nothing!
