The light bulb in my dryer has been out for about 2 years and today I finally got around to replacing it.
Not knowing the wattage on the bulb, I did nto realize it was stamped on teh bulb thread casing, I bought a 6W light bulb. I put it in and it blew out right away. I got out a magnifying glass and found that I needed a 120V 15W bulb. I bought the correct light bulb this time. I put it in, but it does not light up.
Is there an internal fuse for this light that I need to check? The dryer works just fine, but the light will not turn on when the door is opened. Your help in solving this is greatly appreciated.
