Question igniter issue
Model Number: sg499olb   Brand: Speed Queen   Age: 5 - 10 years

I have an old speed queen commercial dryer. I need to replace the device that activates the igniter. It usually works first time but if the cycle is interupted, [door is opened and closed ] and I press the push to start it doesn't always trigger the igniter. After a try or 2 [open and close the door to interupt the cycle] it will trigger the igniter. What part(s) should I replace?

Hi maisoe

I've tried to find the information for your dryer but I could not find it anywhere. It may be because it's too old or because it's a commercial dryer.

Gene.

Thanks for looking into it Gene. I can't say I'm surprised, I really have no idea how old it is. "
