My roper dryer #RGS7646K2 when first turned only lights briefly but then goes off.
If I open the door and then restart it will light again but still go out
I have cleaned the lint trap.
does anybody have any ideas?

The first thing I would do is replace the gas valve coils (#13 & #14 on the diagram). - The part number for the coil kit is AP2150379Gene.
