Our dryer will just shut off after a while. First we thought it was our 16 month old but we have since witnessed it first hand. The clothes are damp but the inside is hot. Could it be overheating? How can I trouble shoot this?

Sean,
Does it stop before the timer went to the off position?
If this is true, then can you restart it right away?

I forgot to write about that. Yes, it went off long before the timer was in the off position, and it will not restart. We tried restarting a couple of times and nothing. I changed all the settings hoping that it would start and nothing. After waiting a few hours we went back and it restarted.
My wife was saying that it usually works for one load. It's during the second load that it will shut off, usually in the beginning and then will have to wait a few hours before she can restart it.
