The dryer runs but does not produce heat. I bypassed the thermal switch pn 3389945 and the heat works again. I looked up the pn and was offered 2 switches in a kit (Part Number: AP3094224
Manufacturer's Number: 279769 (3389946) made by WHIRLPOOL ) but they do not look the same as what I have. Will they work if I move them to my old holders?

It is just a wiring change on the high limit thermostat. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
