Traced problem to the black heater relay on the main control board. Need to know what energizes this relay. Could the front panel control board be the culprit.

Replaced circuit board, now when going to start up, it shows an tS error, and won't start, I swapped back the old board, and now the error shows up with that one also, this is strange because, before no error codes showed up. The dryer started up and ran , but just never fired up. But did run. Now the error code shows up and it won't run at all. Checked the Thermister and it reads 10k ohms. Strange that no codes showed up at first, replaced with new board, code shows up. Swapped back to old board and now code reads with that one. any thoughts ?

The "tS" error code means "The dryer thermistor short sensed".
Check the wires from the thermistor to the control board. Make sure the vent system is not restricted and the lint screen is clean.
Gene.
