I recently moved into a house where the dryer worked for a couple of loads and then simply would not turn on when a new load was placed inside. I do not know if the problem is in the switch or the moter. Everytime I press the switch nothing happens.

In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of your dryer. You can find it on the door frame.

Please, post it as a new thread.

Gene.

Hi Dennis,

What cycle did you use when it was running nonstop?

Looks like instead of the model number you posted the serial number.

Verify and repost it, please.

Roper dryer is Ser#REX3514PQ0
TYPE D433-ELE 2406028-FM54
It says the auto sense dry side of the dial, which is on the left side.

Hi Dennis,

On the same name plate where you found the serial number suppose to be the model number.
