Default Kenmore Dryer no start just beeps
Model Number: 110.75066500   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 1 - 5 years

I bought my Kenmore Dryer from the Sears warehouse in Feb of 2006. Did not receive any manuals. I have the same problem as I've seen on this site but I am a total lame brain when it comes to fixing stuff. My son used the dryer, his clothes were still damp. When he tried to restart the dryer he got the beep, beep, beep, after pressing the start button. The number flashes and the time will count down but the dryer does not start.

Part of the problem is that I can not find anything (on the internet) with the model number. It is an Kenmore Elite gas dryer, blue grey in color, and though I've not had it two years I don't know how long it sat in the warehouse, although the color should indicate a fairly new model. One web site said to remove the back, another said never remove the back but take of the bottom panel in front. Now I'm afraid to take off the back and though the lower panel on the front looks like it should come off, I've tried prying it off and nothing happens.

I've tried the door, (one thread sounded just like my problem) but it is a nice tight close and I pressed in the latch to see if that might be it but unfortunately it wasn't.

I am trying to learn how to fix this with my sons help, at 18 he is not a whiz kid but knows more than alot of adults when it comes to home repairs.

Any help as to how to get to the thermal fuse I've read about would be greatly appreciated.
