Hello to all,
I have a gas dryer, runs fine in timed mode, but timer fails to advance in auto. I looked at print, it appears the TW to WB or TM to OR id the selector part of the switch for timed or auto, and the TM to WB is the timed one. Am I right? dryer runs if motor runs basically? I want to undesrstand how and what does the bias heater do. I assumed my problem was a bad operating t stat and replavced it. No change. Then I Ohm checked old to new. Old was about 7600 ohms, new is 75 ohms! Print calls for 5600 to 8400 ohms. Is my new one defective? should I have contunity at all times between TM and OR when in auto?
