ge dryer will not heat in auto mode
Model Number: ddg7180ral Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
dryer will not heat in auto cycle but will heat in time cycle model ddg7180ral

It sounds like you might have a temperature selector switch problem is it does not heat at all in the timed dry cycle. Pull the panel, and see if there are not any burn't wires. If you need the heat selector switch the part # is WE4X778. Let us know how it goes. Tom ********************************************
