My gas dryer does not ignite. The igniter glows but the gas burner will not light.

Replace the coils on the gas valve, and that will do it. Sometimes the whole gas valve is necessary to be replaced, but for the price of the coils, that is the best route. 95% of the times the coils do the trick. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
