Hello, I recently replaced the heating element on this dryer when it stopped heating up. I have checked the continuity on all other existing parts, i.e. the external thermostat, the fuse, the high temp. thermostat etc., and all show that current is getting through. The coils on the heating element only get voltage when I select the energy saver settings on the dial. They do not show any voltage when I used the timed setting. I'm really not 100% sure on the continuity as I only have a hot stick and no sort of altimeter or voltmeter to work with. Could anyone give me an idea, based on the information above, as to which part I should replace next? Or should I just take the plunge and swallow the 75 bucks I already spent on the heating element and buy a new dryer?
