I have a Kenmore HE 2 dryer model # 110.87572601 that has had the top buckel some and it started rubbing against the drum. I removed the top and tried to bend it outward away from the drum, however it has started to rub again. How can this be repaired? Thanks

The only thing I can think of is to replace the top.
Once metal deforms due to heat (which is what it sounds like), it has a memory so it will return to that position when it is heated up again.

You could check that the seals etc. in the unit are OK just in case heat is escaping internally and overheating the top.
