Dryer quits heating
Model Number: dbsr453gb1ww Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
The ignitor glows and the gas ignites initially. It doesn't stay hot to dry the load.
I have already replaced the coils. I have since determined the dryer is not cycling(heating) as often as it should. I have observed another dryer in operation that is the same model and the heat comes on about every minute while with my dryer the heat comes on about every 3 to 4 minutes with the same settings and conditions.
