Model Number: fde336res1 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
I am changeing the upper drum glide and rear bearing every six months. The top glide wears out and the clothes get stuck between the front cover and the drum. Is it normal for the drum to rest all of it's front weight on the top glide? This time is the worst, the drum won't even turn. Usually it will just make a loud squell and I'd change it. Let it go to long this time. Ther is a yellow plastic block mounted to the houseing, on top in the front under the top cover. It looks like it should help guide the drum, but it does nothing. There's a duplicate one mounted on the lower rear of the houseing, this one lets the drum rest against it. Any help???
