To take the knob off, you have to pull the timer knob out, like you want to start the washer, and behind the knob, is a clear plastic clip, that slides over the shaft of the knob to keep it in place. Pull it up, and out, and then remove the knob. To get to the timer, take the 4 torx screws out on top of the control panel, and pull it off. Tom
