Question GE Front Drum Bearing
Model Number: DPSR473EW0WW   Brand: GE   Age: 5 - 10 years

My dryer has been making a horrible squealing noise. Last night we tore it apart and found that the front drum bearing is wore right down to about nothing. I am just wondering what exactly I need to order to replace it. I am thinking: Front drum bearing and 4 slides, is that all???

Hi cassie31899

Yes, you are right. You have to replace the front drum bearing and four slides.

- The part number for the front drum bearing AP3790641

- The part number for the slide AP631382.

Good luck.
Gene.
