Bought this electric dryer used- Ran it a couple times to test it heats/tumbles fine. But after its runs I open door to look inside and light stays on 2-3 seconds and then goes out! Is this normal function or is light switch going bad????

Yes I would say the the switch (Item 10 in Section 4) is starting to stick closed.

Take a look at the switch's actuator to see if there is some gunk on it.

You could try spraying some electronics cleaner onto the actuator and then quickly pressing/releasing the actuator to see if that will free it up. Unplug the unit when doing this.

Then let it sit a while so the solvent vapors can evaporate and plug it in and give it a try.
