Try the following

If that checks OK then with the unit unplugged tape one meter lead to Neutral at the plug/line cord and leave it there.
Then work your way back through the units components till you find the open circuit.

Should I get continuity from Neutral to the timer? I get nothing there, at any of the contacts.

Yes, you should see a couple ohms (motor windings) at BU on the timer when the start switch is pushed and the door is closed.
