I just got a washer dryer combo and the power cord is an l shaped thing on the top 2 diagnol things on the sides but on the wall its l on top 2 straight things on side and 1 round hole on bottom... im wondering if i can get an adapter for it.

You may want to get a pro in for this.

There is no adapter that I know of.
You will have to change the line cord.

It sounds like the house is 4 wire and your unit is 3 wire.
The unit needs a 4 wire line cord and this also involves removing a ground strap in the unit.

On a 3 wire hookup earth ground (machine frame) and Neutral are the same.
So there is a ground strap that attaches the Neutral on the units terminal strip to the frame.

On a 4 wire hook up the Neutral and earth ground are separate. So that ground strap is removed and the White (Neutral) from the line cord is attached to the terminal strip (usually the center connection). The green from the line cord is then attached to the frame.
