Maytag MAV3905AWW The tub won't spin during the spin cycle. The tub,lower,and thrust bearing are good. If I turn the pulley clockwise it agitates. If I turn it counterclockwise it agitates,but will not spin the tub. I can manually engage the thrust bearing by turning the pulley counterclockwise and holding the thrustplate with a screwdriver. This disengages the brake. When I keep turning CC it agitates but does not spin when the body of the transmisson is held. My real question is. Is the agitator supose to lock when spun CC to allow the thrustplate to disengage the brake and spin the transmisson housing and the tub.
