Thanks- That makes sense since the element is round. Is there anything tricky about removing the drum? Thanks again, I appreciate it.

if front panel is off +lid is up .remove belt off pulley+ motor . put hand at back of drum+ pull up hard .this should pull drum off bearing to remove
