> We are having trouble with this gas dryer. On the regular dry cycle, the unit will run for about 30 seconds then buzz and shut off regardless where on that cycle the pointer is set. On the delicate cycle, if the cycle is set at 70 or 80 minutes, the uhit will run until the pointer reaches about 40 minutes and then it will shut down.

I cannot find this dryer listed on the Whirlpool site or on your site. Is it that old? And, if it is, what else can I do to determine how to repair it?

Jeep,
From what you have said in your post it sounds like you have a bad timer. Timers are pretty expensive and depending on how old your dryer is you may be better off buying a new one. But this is what it sounds like to me. I have been doing dryer repairs for three years now and based on the info. given that is my guess.
