Dryer wont heat

Model Number: LDG9824AAE Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years

Dryer wont heat. Ignitor glows then goes out. Sometimes I do have a flame for about 10 seconds but then it goes out. I usually have to tap things to get the flame to work. I couldnot get the flame to work about the last 10 times I tried it though
