My dryer runs, but does not heat. Please help me with instructions on how I might fix it, and maybe where I can buy parts locally.

The typical reasons why a dryer will run but not heat are

1. Only one leg of the 240 volt power is coming in. Check to see that both legs have 120v

2. One of the safety thermal devices or thermostats has blown. Check them for continuity.

3. The element has broken. Check it for ohms should be around 10 to 15ohms.
