Model Number: DDE7200SBLWW Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
Its runs, but there is no heat. After looking at other posts I verified there is 115 v on each leg at the outlet and 230 across the legs. I checked the resistance of the heating elements, both at 20 ohms, and verified continuity of the 2 thermoswitches near the heater and 2 near the blower. There was another smaller switch, I think, located between the 2 thermoswitches near the heater that also had continuity. I even bypassed the temp selector switch. Since all this stuff can only be accessed with the drum removed I bypassed the broken belt and door switches to get it to run in its evicerated state.
