My dryer stopped after 30 mins into cycle. I waited about 3 hrs and tried to start it again, and nothing. No power what so ever. I checked outlets for power and they are o.k. Changed fuses in fuse box and that wasn't the problem. Could you please tell me what it could be or that I just need a new dryer.UserPostedImage

If you take the top off, and up there where the element housing is on the back right hand side is the the thermal fuse. That will be the problem. It is the size of a dime and has 2 wires coming to it. You can take the two wires off, and put the terminals together, and put a little tape on them so it does not hit metal, and see if it works. DO NOT RUN the dryer with it jumped out, it is for testing reasons only. Tom

I could not find anything on that model # to see what type of controls you have. If that did not work, the 2 things that I could recommend to you is check is the door switch on the dryer, and the power coming to the back of the dryer where the cord goes into the back of the dryer. You should read 240 volts, at the back of the dryer. Check the model # again, so I could see what you have. If this is a european model, I won't be able to pull up your model #. Tom
