Hello. I have a Roper electric dryer that will not heat up after my basement flooded recently. The dryer starts up and runs fine. Just not heating up. I checked each side of the outlet and both sides read 117 volts. But I didn't check across each side for 220 volts. Or should I have 220 since I have 117 on each side? I also checked the thermal fuse, cycling t-stat, thermal cut-off, high limit t-stat, and heating element for continuity. All checked out. I also unplugged each one and used a jumper wire just to double check. Still no heat. Could it be the temperature selector switch? I didn't check it because I wasn't sure how. I did check for continuity in the resistor on the back of the temp. selector switch. No continuity. I'm at a loss. Thanks for any help.
