Model Number: LER5620KQ1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
My electric dryer will not shut off on its own once it is started. I've tried different settings on the dial (timed dry, sensor dry, etc.), but once the dial is set and the dryer is turned on, it will not stop on its own, and the dial never moves toward the end of cycle position. It heats just fine, just won't turn off. Is this a bad timer?

Hi Len
Most likely the problem with your dryer is a bad timer. Replacing the timer should solve the problem. - The part number for the new timer AP3131541 - Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dryer Model LER5620KQ1 Good luck. Gene.
