Dryer Repair

TESTS: Gas line, electric supply and vent line all ok.
OBSERVATIONS: 1) No prior signs of problem (appliance used daily).
2) When dryer is started do not hear "click" (of ignitor)
nor ignition of natural gas.
3) TIMER DIAL (when set) does not move after starting
dryer. EXCEPTION: Dial moves only when set for
"TIMED DRYING (PERM PRESS) (60 MINS. - "COOL
DOWN").
QUESTION: Replace TIMER, IGNITOR, or other?
