My dryer has no heat, and the timer doesn't "count down". It's 240v electric. I've gone through part of the schematic, and so far I've found: Thermostat heater, 7200 ohms, within range. Thermal fuse, 0 ohms. Thermal cutoff, 0 ohms. 5400w heater, 9.8 ohms, within range. With dryer running on high heat, heater gets 118 volts to either pole against ground, 0 volts against each other. The one thing I haven't gone through yet are all the timer switch connections, hopefully I'll have time to do so after work today, unless this is a heater issue. Thank you for any advice.

Have you tried it is timed dry? If the timer does not advance in timed dry then I think you have a power problem. As it also runs off the 240 volts and is connected directly to the 240 through Timer Switch 0 in timed dry. Very unlikely that both the timer and heating coil would blow at the same time.
Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times, sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker. If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug L1 to L2 should be 240 volts L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts. If OK Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out If OK Check the power at the terminal strip.
