I have a Maytag MDE8506AYW. I runs but will not heat. I have test the heating element, thermal fuse and thermostat with a continuity tester and they all pass. Any other ideas what could be wrong before I call a repair man?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Check your outlet make sure you have 220V, if so check the terminal block for the proper voltage. If not correct check your breaker.

Post your results.

Thanks a lot libertyappl! Though that was not the exact problem it made me think. I did remove my panel cover to add an additional circuit to my house. I must have bumped the breaker because I went to check it an one part of the double breaker was not fully engaged causing me to get less than 220V to the dryer.

Thanks again. At the very least it made me open the dryer and clean the lint out in areas I rarely see.
