I spoke with an appliance repair tech regarding this timer because not solving this is annoying me nonstop. He claims that the problem is I have the wrong replacement timer and he has seen this in the past. I told him I verified the model and serial numbers on three seperate orders. He claims there are 3 switches that all look the same. In your opinion, is this possible?

Top Cat,

Yes, it is possible, unfortunately, there have been several re vamped parts lists, and they're still not correct.

The easiest way to handle the situation, and get the correct replacement part,

Is to get the manufacturer's part number, off the original part number you need to replace.
( the MPN usually starts with 6 -*******, and is on the white tag affixxed to the timer).

If you can get us the serial number, we can varify what parts should be in the unit, or if you can get the MPN we can cross reference it , and get you the matching service replacement part.
