My unit just stopped when I was changing out the loads went to restart and when I shut the door I could hear a humming noise. Hit the start button nothing happened turn the dial to off and humming stops turn dial to any position but off humming comes back still no start now humming has stopped completely I do not have wiring diagram was not with machine but I do have the capabilities to test electrical any input would be greatly appreciated

You most likely have a bad motor. Open the door of the dryer , and turn the drum. If the drum turns, it is most likely a bad motor. If it does not, it still could be a bad motor, and it could have a garment stuck in the blower wheel. The front has to come off to view the blower wheeel. Tom
