can i lubricate the rear bearing without taking the dryer apart or do i have to replace?

Replace, if you suspect a bad bearing libricating is only buying a little time. Won't be long you'll back back in unit. Good Luck

Dear jamie

You can lubricate it with lithium grease but your better off replacing the rear drum bearing.

You will have to pull the drum out either way. They are the second most easiest dryer to work on.

While your in there you should also check the front glide and the idler.
