Here are your parts
Replacement parts for MAYTAG MDE5500AYW DRYER- ELE | AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is a manual which should help.
16023110 Maytag Sloped Front Dryer Repair Service Manual - ApplianceDigest.com

Try to figure out where the racket is coming from, often this is difficult to say the least.

Check that the fins in the drum are tight.
Check that there is nothing caught between the drum and the frame.
If Ok you will have to open it up and try to find the cause.
At the top of the list is something in the blower, raer drum support rollers and the idler roller.
