Dryer starts and runs for a variable amount of time and then throws main breaker. Replaced main breaker and problem continues and even getting worse.

Check 220 outlet for anything loose also check dryer cord ,ake sure all screws to te cord is tight. Open dryer p inspect for anything that might be shorting to ground if nothing is found you will probably need to replace motor

Also check in the heating coil for any signs of it touching the case. |
