I own a Roper dryer and when I close the door and push the start button...nothing happens. It will not turn on. I have checked the breaker, it's ok; pulled the dryer out and vacuumed out all the lint....still nothing.

Also, how many belts does this dryer have? There is a small thinner one around the drum, a larger one on the back of the drum (with adhesive attaching it to the drum), but about an inch in front of the larger belt there is a small indentation...is that where another belt goes?

Roper Dryer- Model # REX4635EQ2

Thanks in advance for the help!

Here's a breakdown to your unit Model REX4635EQ2

If you have an ohm meter, remove the rear panel and test the thermal fuse. Thermal fuse (disposable, one time fuse) that's the most commn thing to keep the dryer from starting. If the thermal fuse has continuity then test the door latch.
