dryer makes loud pop then blows fuse
Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
Earlier this week I noticed my clothes had a burnt smell. When I went to try the dryer yesterday I got a LOUD pop (like a big firecracker), a flash in the back, and a blown fuse. Figured it died but when I reset the breaker, it gave another loud pop before it blew the breaker again. Is is a repair or time to buy a new one?
