Maytag Atlantis Gas Dryer won't stop running.
Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Maytag Atlantic Gas Dryer. Recently when running the dryer it started to continuously run. The timer never advanced it runs/and heats up but never shuts off unless I manual advance timer or open door. I checked the lint trap and vent and it looks as if it is clear. I did not check internal ductwork, but air comes out of the vent when dryer is on. It does advance when set at Air Fluff/"no heat".
I read a few places that it possibly could be the therrmostat? Any advice/help?? Ads By Google
