When you put the wet clothes into the dryer and start it there is a loud squeaking noise. I am having trouble getting the top of the dryer open and the sides off to check it out. Can you help me??? Thank You

Open the door and remove the screw on each side of the top part of the door frame.

Most likely the problem is a worn out slide(s) on the front drum bearing (#316 on the break down diagram).

Here are the break down diagrams for the GE dryer Model DPSR483GA0AA
