New Ignitor on Gas Dryer - Defective?
Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
My gas dryer had no heat. My husband tested the ignitor and it was burnt out. We ordered a new ignitor from your website and put it in. I was so happy to have my dryer back. So I started laundry and put the clothes in the dryer. The ignitor was working because there was heat. So after an hour, I went to get the clothes and they were damp. My husband took the dryer apart to check the ignitor and it was blown again. I don't know if this was a defective ignitor sent to me or there is something else wrong that is causing the ignitor to blow. Please help. Any comments or suggestions would be great and very much appreciated. Thank you
