The felt guide for my dryer is worn out and I need to replace it. This is one of those stackable dryers from Frigidaire Gallery.

The problem is that I'm at step #1 - Removing the dryer top and I'm already stuck. :(

I removed the two rear screws but the top does not slide back like it says it should in the instructions I found over the 'net. I tapped the front of the top with a mallet but it just will NOT budge. I'm stuck and need to fix this thing quickly .. arghghgh! I'm lost!

Any help is appreciated.
