I have a Maytag dryer that the baffles in the drum have snapped off (2 out of 3 of them, 3rd on is loose) How do I get the front off to access the screws on the outside of the drum.
Thanks

Open the dryer door, and take the 1 screw out that holds the top door hinge in place, and then do the same for the lower door hinge. Then lift up, and remove the door. Then look to the left side as if the door was attached to the other side. You will see a phillips head screw, with a white in color space. Take the top one off, and the bottom one off, and then remove the front panel. Now we need to keep the top up. In the front left corner, just under the top is a 5/16s screw take it out, and the other one on the other side. Now move the top back and rest in on the back wall. Now you will be able to get to the screws that hold the baffles in place. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
